Ericsson has hosted a high-level delegation from Zambia at its studio in Stockholm, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration on digital transformation initiatives.

The delegation was led by Mulambo Haimbe, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and included Johan Hallenborg. The visit was organised in partnership with Business Sweden.

Discussions during the engagement focused on the role of connectivity in supporting Zambia’s national development priorities, with particular emphasis on leveraging digital infrastructure to drive innovation and efficiency across key sectors.

Participants explored practical applications of connectivity solutions in areas such as agriculture, where digital technologies are increasingly being used to enhance productivity, improve resilience, and support long-term sustainability.

Ericsson highlighted the importance of collaboration between governments, industry stakeholders, and development partners in translating digital ambitions into tangible outcomes. The meeting also underscored the role of sustained dialogue in advancing technology-driven solutions tailored to national development needs.

The engagement forms part of broader efforts to deepen partnerships aimed at accelerating digital transformation across Africa, with a focus on building resilient and inclusive digital ecosystems.
