A
delegation from Agence des Systèmes d'Information et du Numérique (ASIN) of
Benin has visited the headquarters of Irembo in Kigali, Rwanda, as part of
efforts to exchange knowledge and strengthen collaboration in digital
government services.
The
visit was led by Anziz Adéyèmi Adehan, Head of eServices and Platforms
Department at ASIN, and focused on sharing technical expertise and best
practices in the development and management of digital public service
platforms.

During
the engagement, the Irembo team provided an overview of its technical
operations, product development processes and strategic roadmap for expanding
digital government services in Rwanda. The delegation also interacted with
engineers and product teams, discussing system architecture, service delivery
models and digital transformation strategies.
The
discussions included an observation of an artificial intelligence-supported
code review session, allowing participants to exchange ideas on software
development practices and the use of emerging technologies in digital service
delivery.

Officials
from both institutions noted that the engagement reflects growing cooperation
among African countries to strengthen e-government platforms and digital
infrastructure through knowledge sharing and peer-to-peer collaboration.
The
visit also highlighted the importance of regional cooperation in accelerating
digital transformation across the continent by enabling governments to learn
from each other’s experiences in developing citizen-focused digital services.
