The
Rwanda Green Fund has launched the first edition of the Catalyst Knowledge
Café, a new platform designed to foster dialogue on climate finance and
innovation, with discussions highlighting the growing role of digital solutions
in advancing green investments.

The
inaugural session was held at Kivu Noir Café and brought together experts,
partners, and innovators to examine how catalytic capital can accelerate the
development of sustainable projects and strengthen the green economy.
Participants
explored the realities of climate financing while also discussing how digital
technologies and data-driven tools can support green investment strategies,
enhance transparency in funding mechanisms, and enable entrepreneurs to scale
climate-focused solutions.
The
discussions also emphasized the importance of collaboration between
institutions, investors, and startups to build innovative financing models
capable of supporting environmentally sustainable development.

Officials
from Rwanda Green Fund said the Catalyst Knowledge Café is intended to serve as
a recurring forum for exchanging ideas and strengthening partnerships that can
help mobilize capital and leverage digital innovation to advance Rwanda’s green
economy agenda.
