The
Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) has convened
African Union Member States, technical institutions, and development partners
to validate the Primary Health Care (PHC) Digital Framework.

The
initiative aims to strengthen health security and sovereignty across Africa by
supporting robust PHC systems enhanced with digital tools.
The
framework is designed to improve service delivery, enable real-time
decision-making, and ensure continuity of care at the country level.

Discussions
during the convening focused on aligning implementation efforts, fostering
accountability, and promoting effective integration of digital solutions into
national health systems to advance the Africa Health Security and Sovereignty
(AHSS) agenda.
