Vodacom Lesotho Foundation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Information, Communications, Science, Technology and Innovation to ensure the long-term sustainability of the Insight Centre, a 4G-enabled digital library serving persons with visual impairments.

Established in 2019, the Insight Centre provides access to information and digital resources aimed at restoring independence and enabling full participation in society. Under the renewed agreement, Vodacom Lesotho Foundation will take full financial responsibility for the Centre’s operations from 2026 to 2029 and implement structured capacity-building and awareness programs to promote digital inclusion and social equity.

The partnership reflects a shared commitment to Lesotho’s national digital transformation agenda, emphasizing inclusive, sustainable, and people-centered progress in technology and education.
