Algeria's Minister of Posts
and Telecommunications, Sayed Ali Zerrougui, has supervised the inauguration of
Malik Yala as Acting Director General of the National Agency for the Promotion
and Development of Technological Warehouses (ANPT Cyberparc).
During the ceremony,
Zerrougui congratulated Yala on the trust placed in him and wished him success
in performing his new duties.
The Minister also issued a
number of directives, calling for ANPT Cyberparc to assume a new and pivotal
role in revitalising Algeria's technological ecosystem.
He urged the agency to
become an essential actor and partner to global and national technological
institutions, as well as innovators, as part of efforts to strengthen the
country's technological capabilities.
The appointment is expected
to provide an opportunity for the agency to reinforce its role in supporting
technological development and strengthening engagement with institutions and
innovation stakeholders.
