Vodacom Congo has trained 22
employees from across its departments as fraud awareness ambassadors as part of
efforts to strengthen fraud prevention, detection and integrity across the
company.
The initiative, launched in
connection with International Fraud Awareness Week, brings together two teams
of 11 employees who have been trained and coached to promote responsible
practices and strengthen the company's defence against fraud risks.
According to Vodacom Congo,
the ambassadors will serve as captains in promoting the right reflexes across
the organisation, reinforcing the values of integrity and helping employees
identify and respond to potential fraud risks.
The company said the
initiative was designed to move beyond speeches to practical action, with the
two teams working as a coordinated unit to close potential gaps and strengthen
vigilance across its operations.
“Fraud looking for the
loophole? Our ambassadors close the spaces,” the company stated.
Vodacom Congo added that the
22 ambassadors represent the beginning of a broader effort to encourage
thousands of employees to remain vigilant and contribute to fraud prevention.
“Together, we play as a
team. We prevent, we detect, we win!” the company said.
