Orange Digital Centre, in
partnership with the Portail des Industries Créatives & Culturelles (PICC)
association, has organised a Focus Day dedicated to the challenges of
communication, media and advertising in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
Held under the theme
“Structuring creativity, capturing attention, creating value,” the meeting
brought together professionals, creatives, agencies, media, brands and other
players in the creative ecosystem to strengthen skills, identify sector
opportunities and encourage connections to support industry development.
The event featured a
workshop titled “From Brief to Business,” led by Tara Mpogazi, which explored
the steps involved in transforming a communication need into a creative and
strategic recommendation.
Two business panels also
brought together industry experts to discuss key questions, including “Who sets
the rules of the game?” and “Creating an attentive that performs.”
Orange RDC said supporting
the creative and cultural industries also means creating the conditions for
dialogue, learning and collaboration.
The initiative forms part of
Orange Digital Center’s mission to create spaces for dialogue between
creatives, agencies, media, brands, institutions and future talents.
Through such engagements,
Orange Digital Center aims to promote the development of skills, support
entrepreneurship, facilitate meetings between innovative players and grow a
creative ecosystem that is more connected, more competent and more open to opportunities.
Orange RDC thanked Mpogazi,
the panelists, the BCIP and everyone who contributed to the success of the
event.
