MTN Group has launched MTN One TV, a new digital entertainment platform designed to expand access to local, regional, and global content for customers across its African markets.

The announcement was made by MTN Group, which said the platform brings together live channels, local storytelling, and global entertainment content in a more flexible and accessible format for users.

According to MTN Group Chief Commercial, Strategy and Transformation Officer Selorm Adadevoh, the introduction of MTN One TV reflects the company’s ambition to strengthen digital participation through entertainment, which is increasingly becoming a key entry point into digital ecosystems.

MTN said the platform is powered by its existing connectivity, fintech, and digital infrastructure, enabling the distribution of local content while also creating new opportunities for content creators and the broader creative economy across Africa.

The company added that MTN One TV will support the development of local content ecosystems by providing distribution channels that allow creators to reach MTN customers across multiple markets.

MTN described the launch as part of its broader strategy to deliver integrated digital experiences and reinforce its long-term goal of “leading digital solutions for Africa’s progress.”
