The Cyber
Security Authority (CSA), under the leadership of Acting Director-General Mr.
Divine Selase Agbeti, has initiated a strategic engagement with the University
of Ghana’s School of Engineering Sciences to enhance cybersecurity education
and professional training. The meeting, which included the Dean of the School,
Prof. Elsie Effah Kaufmann, focused on curriculum development and creating
pathways for certification and accreditation in cybersecurity.

The
collaboration aims to introduce certificate courses in cybersecurity, risk
management, and business continuity, as well as develop graduate programs
aligned with industry needs.
By working
closely with academia, the CSA seeks to build a robust pipeline of skilled
professionals to address Ghana’s growing cybersecurity challenges and secure
the nation’s digital ecosystem.

This
partnership underscores the CSA’s commitment to fostering a culture of
cybersecurity excellence through education and professional development. By
equipping students and professionals with relevant skills and certifications,
the initiative aims to strengthen Ghana’s resilience against cyber threats and
support the country’s digital transformation goals.
