The Tech Gender
meeting culminated in a dynamic educational hackathon that showcased the
growing influence of women in Togo's technology sector. Organized by the
Ministry of Digital Economy and Digital Transformation through Togo Data Lab,
the "EDUHER" Hackathon brought together young female students
passionate about technology and digital innovation.

The event
provided a platform for participants to demonstrate their creativity and
technical skills while developing innovative solutions addressing national
challenges. In a collaborative and energetic atmosphere, these young women
displayed remarkable potential in shaping an inclusive digital future for Togo
through practical problem-solving and technological applications.
Beyond the
competitive aspects, the hackathon served to highlight the essential role women
play in technological advancement and their significant contributions to
innovation ecosystems. The event emphasized how female participation
strengthens the technology sector and brings diverse perspectives to digital
solution development.

The Ministry's
initiative through Togo Data Lab reflects the government's commitment to
promoting gender equality in digital fields while fostering homegrown talent
capable of driving the nation's digital transformation. By focusing on young
students, the program invests in the next generation of female technology
leaders who will shape Togo's digital landscape in the coming years.
The successful
conclusion of the Tech Gender meeting and its accompanying hackathon represents
an important step in Togo's journey toward creating a more inclusive and
diverse digital economy.
