Zamtel has unveiled its
MyZamtel Super App alongside two Zambia-first innovations, Create Your Own
Bundle and Kongola Malaiti, as the telecommunications company seeks to give
customers greater choice and control over connectivity and essential digital services.
The enhanced MyZamtel Super
App puts more services and control directly in customers’ hands, including the
ability to create a bundle based on their individual needs through Create Your
Own Bundle.
Kongola Malaiti, meanwhile,
can be accessed through *115#, bringing digital financial services closer to
everyday users.
Speaking at the launch,
Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Technology and Science, Dr. Brilliant
Habeenzu, highlighted the role of technology and innovation in supporting the
Grow Zambia Agenda under the leadership of President Hakainde Hichilema, particularly
in creating opportunities and driving economic growth.
Zamtel said the new
solutions support the Grow Zambia Agenda by using technology to connect, enable
and create opportunities.
The company said the
innovations reflect its efforts to build homegrown solutions through Zamtel and
Zamtel Money while expanding customers’ access to digital services.
The launch also places
greater emphasis on giving customers flexibility in managing their connectivity
and accessing digital financial services.
Zamtel said the MyZamtel
Super App and the two Zambia-first innovations are designed to give Zambians
more choice, convenience and control over how they connect and access essential
services.
