Kenya and the United Kingdom are exploring deeper cooperation on cybersecurity, with the Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) hosting Mr Ollie Whitehouse, Chief Technology Officer at the United Kingdom’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), for a courtesy meeting.

The engagement focused on strengthening the longstanding UK–Kenya cybersecurity partnership and exchanging insights on the evolving cyber threat landscape.

Discussions also covered approaches to enhancing cyber resilience across government systems and critical digital infrastructure, as well as opportunities to deepen collaboration between the NCSC and CA.

The meeting provides a platform for the two institutions to strengthen information exchange and cooperation as governments and critical infrastructure operators respond to increasingly complex cybersecurity threats.

The engagement forms part of ongoing efforts by Kenya and the UK to reinforce cybersecurity collaboration and improve resilience across critical digital systems.
