The Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) has engaged with Oracle Corporation to explore potential areas of collaboration aimed at supporting Kenya’s digital transformation agenda.

The engagement took place during a courtesy meeting between CA Director General David Mugonyi and Oracle Corporation Vice President for Government Affairs, Matis Pellerin, at the CA Centre.

Discussions focused on the role of emerging technologies in driving innovation, enhancing public service delivery and expanding digital opportunities for citizens across Kenya.

The meeting provided a platform for both parties to explore opportunities where technology solutions can support the development of a more secure, inclusive and resilient digital ecosystem.

The Communications Authority said the engagement reflects its commitment to building strategic partnerships with global technology companies to advance Kenya’s digital development objectives.

Through collaboration with industry stakeholders, the regulator continues to promote initiatives aimed at strengthening digital infrastructure, improving access to technology and enabling greater participation in the digital economy.

The CA reiterated the importance of partnerships between regulators, government agencies and technology companies in creating an enabling environment for sustainable digital transformation.
