Three Senegalese geospatial
innovation projects incubated through GeoInnov showcased their solutions and
connected with international professionals during GeoDataDays 2026, held in
Tours, France.
SICOFIL, BlueWatch and
GisBati represented Senegalese geospatial innovation at the event, providing
the startups with an opportunity to present their projects, explain their
solutions, respond to questions and highlight the work completed during their
incubation.
Their participation also
extended beyond project presentations, with the two-day event providing
opportunities for meetings, exchanges, discoveries, experience sharing and
networking.
The startups engaged with
other players in the geospatial sector, allowing them to discover new
initiatives, exchange perspectives and test their ideas within a broader
international professional ecosystem.
For GeoInnov, the
participation represented an important step in supporting the three projects
beyond the incubation framework. The programme said the experience allowed the
startups to confront their solutions with an international professional
environment and establish connections that could be useful for the next stages
of their development.
GeoInnov said the experience
at GeoDataDays 2026 forms part of its efforts to support incubated projects as
they transition from the incubation environment into wider professional and
international ecosystems.
