MTN Ghana Chief Executive Officer, Stephen Blewett has joined President John Dramani Mahama at the Nasdaq Stock Market in New York as Ghana showcased its investment potential and strengthened its message to global investors that the country is open for business.

Blewett’s participation alongside President Mahama placed Ghana’s private sector at the centre of the investment engagement, as the country presented opportunities for strategic investment and international partnerships.

President Mahama was featured on the Nasdaq billboard in Times Square with the bold message, “Ghana Is Open for Business,” setting the tone for the U.S.–Ghana Presidential Roundtable.

The engagement positioned Ghana before global investors as a destination for opportunity, partnership and sustainable growth, with the participation of MTN Ghana highlighting the role of leading businesses in Ghana’s investment and economic landscape.

Blewett’s presence also reflected the importance of collaboration between government and the private sector in promoting Ghana’s investment proposition and strengthening international business relationships.

The Nasdaq engagement formed part of President Mahama’s efforts to showcase Ghana’s economic potential and encourage strategic partnerships that can contribute to sustainable growth.

For MTN Ghana, the participation provided an opportunity to be part of a high-level engagement focused on Ghana’s positioning before international investors and partners.

The appearance in Times Square reinforced the central message of the engagement: “Ghana Is Open for Business” and “Ghana Is Open for Investment.”
