MTN Rwanda has hosted a
cohort of MBA students from the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) as
part of their learning journey, giving future business leaders first-hand
exposure to leadership, strategy, innovation and digital transformation in Rwanda.
The engagement provided an
opportunity for MTN Rwanda to share its business journey, its contribution to
the country’s digital transformation and innovation agenda, and its perspective
on emerging opportunities across Rwanda’s and Africa’s business landscape.
The MBA cohort was
introduced to the evolving business environment in Rwanda, with discussions
focused on how businesses are responding to technological change, innovation
and shifting market opportunities.
MTN Rwanda said the
engagement forms part of its support for learning experiences that connect
academic knowledge with practical business realities.
The company also highlighted
its role in advancing digital transformation and innovation, while sharing
insights into the opportunities shaping Rwanda’s economy and the wider African
market.
The interaction is expected
to give the GIBS MBA students a deeper understanding of the strategic,
technological and commercial factors influencing businesses operating in
Rwanda.
MTN Rwanda said engagements
of this nature help bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world
business experience while contributing to the development of future leaders
capable of navigating Africa’s evolving business environment.
