MTN South Sudan has launched Shabab Nation in Juba, introducing an initiative aimed at creating opportunities for young South Sudanese to connect, express themselves, develop their talents and pursue new opportunities.

The launch, held in Juba, marks the beginning of a programme that seeks to provide a platform for young people to showcase their abilities, engage with their peers and transform their ambitions into practical action.

MTN South Sudan described Shabab Nation as more than a launch, positioning it as a movement designed to create space for youth participation and talent development.

The initiative is expected to bring young people together around opportunities for connection, creativity and personal development while providing a platform through which they can contribute to South Sudan's evolving social and economic landscape.

The telecommunications company said the initiative will be built collectively with young people, emphasising their role in shaping its direction and impact.

The launch comes as youth empowerment and skills development remain important areas for expanding opportunities for young people in South Sudan.
