UniPod Malawi has launched
an “AI for Everyone” workshop aimed at helping entrepreneurs, lecturers,
creatives, innovators and professionals develop practical skills in the use of
artificial intelligence.
The workshop, which began
this week, is focused on exploring how AI can be applied to everyday work,
business operations, creative activities, learning and problem-solving.
The initiative is being
delivered in partnership with Spaceai and supported by Sky Energy Africa as
sponsor.
UniPod Malawi said the
programme is designed to broaden access to practical technology knowledge and
help more people participate in the opportunities emerging from the rapid
development of artificial intelligence.
Participants are being
introduced to practical applications of AI that can support productivity,
innovation and decision-making across different professional and business
environments.
The initiative reflects growing
efforts across Malawi to strengthen digital skills and ensure that emerging
technologies are accessible beyond specialised technology communities.
UniPod Malawi said the
workshop is based on the belief that the impact of artificial intelligence will
depend not only on technological development but also on people's ability to
understand and apply the technology effectively.
The programme is expected to
contribute to the development of a broader AI-skilled community capable of
using emerging technologies to create new opportunities and address practical
challenges.
