Togo AI Lab has launched a new digital education programme aimed at introducing children to digital tools and the fundamentals of artificial intelligence from an early age.

The “Mon Enfant & le Numérique” programme officially began on Saturday, August 8, 2026, with the first of a series of educational sessions designed to help young participants develop an understanding of digital technologies in an age-appropriate environment.

The programme will run over four consecutive Saturdays, with participants being guided through basic digital tools and introductory concepts in artificial intelligence.

According to Togo AI Lab, the initiative is intended to strengthen children's awareness of digital issues while helping prepare a new generation of technology users and potential innovators.

The programme forms part of the organisation’s broader efforts to promote digital literacy and encourage early engagement with emerging technologies in Togo.

By introducing children to technology and AI concepts at an early stage, the initiative seeks to build foundational knowledge that can support their future participation in the country’s growing digital economy.

The next session of the programme is scheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2026, as participants continue their exploration of digital technologies and artificial intelligence.
