The Rwanda Information Society Authority (RISA) and the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change (TBI) have reaffirmed their commitment to advancing Rwanda’s digital transformation agenda following high-level discussions on the country’s digital priorities.

RISA Chief Executive Officer Antoine Sebera hosted a delegation from the Tony Blair Institute led by Rwanda Country Director Stella Ford Mugabo for strategic talks focused on accelerating the implementation of Rwanda’s digital development initiatives.

The discussions centred on key priorities that will shape the next phase of Rwanda’s digital transformation, including expanding digital connectivity, improving the quality of digital services, strengthening digital infrastructure and enhancing the country’s readiness for artificial intelligence.

The meeting also examined opportunities to support investments in data centre infrastructure, improve project delivery and accelerate the implementation of strategic digital initiatives planned over the coming months.

Both parties explored ways to deepen their collaboration in support of Rwanda’s ambitions to build a resilient digital economy and strengthen the adoption of AI-driven technologies across the country.
