A new global initiative aimed at accelerating the deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions for public benefit has been launched, bringing together government, technology and policy institutions to support high-impact AI projects across key sectors.

The Global 5X AI Impact Acceleration Program, co-founded by the UAE Government Accelerators, the Tech Diplomacy Global Institute and the Global Center on AI Governance, is designed to move AI initiatives beyond policy discussions and pilot projects into measurable real-world implementation.

The programme is inviting government agencies, multilateral organisations, private sector organisations and innovators to submit delivery-ready AI projects capable of producing visible outcomes within a 100-day acceleration cycle.

Selected projects will form part of the Global 5X AI Flagship Portfolio and receive acceleration support, governance guidance and access to a global network of leaders focused on practical AI deployment.

The initiative will focus on five priority sectors: sustainability, society, health, learning and livability, with the aim of supporting AI solutions that address pressing social and economic challenges.

Ayumi Moore Aoki, Founder and CEO of Women in Tech Global and Founder of the Tech Diplomacy Global Institute, said the programme represents a new approach to international AI cooperation by prioritising execution, measurable impact and collaboration across borders.

The organisers said the programme seeks to create a platform where governments, innovators and institutions can work together to scale responsible AI solutions that improve public services and enhance quality of life.

The launch reflects growing global efforts to ensure that artificial intelligence development is accompanied by strong governance frameworks and practical applications that deliver benefits to communities.

Applications are now open for organisations and innovators with AI projects that demonstrate clear public value and readiness for implementation.
