The Botswana Digital & Innovation Hub (BDIH) has showcased the country’s growing innovation ecosystem at the Trade Up North Mining, Manufacturing & Construction Conference and Expo, highlighting technology-driven solutions developed by local startups, researchers and enterprises.

The event was officially opened by Botswana President Duma Boko, who also visited the BDIH Pavilion to engage with innovators and learn about emerging solutions supporting the country’s industrial transformation.

Exhibitors at the pavilion presented a range of innovations spanning advanced engineering, mining technologies and sustainable manufacturing solutions, demonstrating the role of technology and entrepreneurship in addressing industry challenges.

BDIH said the platform provided an opportunity to highlight Botswana’s growing pool of innovators and promote collaboration between technology developers, industry players and other stakeholders.
