Egypt Post, in collaboration
with eFinance, has launched a new version of its Easy Pay mobile application,
introducing an expanded range of digital financial services aimed at advancing
financial inclusion and accelerating the country's digital transformation
agenda.
The upgraded application
provides customers with a unified platform for accessing a broad suite of
financial services, combining enhanced functionality with improved performance
and stronger security features.
According to Egypt Post, the
relaunch forms part of its strategy to modernize financial service delivery
through innovative digital solutions that respond to evolving customer needs
and technological advancements.
The new version features a
redesigned user interface and upgraded technical infrastructure, delivering
faster performance while enhancing the protection of customer data and the
confidentiality of financial transactions in line with current cybersecurity
standards.
Users can register on the
platform using any Egypt Post-issued Visa or Meeza card and manage multiple
cards under a single account. The application also allows customers to add or
remove cards as needed, offering greater flexibility in account management and
facilitating electronic payment adoption across different customer segments.
The upgraded Easy Pay
platform introduces expanded money transfer capabilities, enabling customers to
transfer funds between their own accounts as well as to the accounts or cards
of other Egypt Post customers through secure digital channels.
The application also
provides a range of self-service account management features, including instant
balance inquiries, access to account statements, temporary card suspension in
the event of loss or theft, password changes, PIN updates and account deregistration.
In addition to account
management, Easy Pay enables customers to pay for a variety of services
digitally, including electricity bills, university tuition fees and Cable
Network Egypt (CNE) services. The platform also allows users to send money
transfers using a recipient's national identification number, with
beneficiaries able to collect funds from any Egypt Post office nationwide.
Customers can also load Easy
Pay cards with cash at post offices across Egypt's governorates, providing
additional convenience for everyday financial transactions.
Egypt Post said the enhanced
Easy Pay application reflects its commitment to expanding access to secure,
efficient and user-friendly digital financial services while supporting the
wider adoption of cashless payment solutions throughout the country. The application
is available for download on both Android and iOS devices.
