The
Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation (CTO) has announced plans to
convene Digital Development Day Mozambique on 24 June 2026, bringing together
key stakeholders to advance discussions on digital transformation and ecosystem
development in the country.
The
event, themed “Strengthening Digital Ecosystems through Collaboration,” is
expected to gather government leaders, industry experts, academia, innovators,
and development partners to explore practical approaches to accelerating
Mozambique’s digital economy.
According
to CTO, the forum will focus on fostering multi-stakeholder collaboration as a
driver of digital transformation, with emphasis on building resilient digital
infrastructure, enhancing policy frameworks, and promoting inclusive access to
digital services.
The
organisation stated that the discussions will contribute to shaping strategies
aimed at strengthening Mozambique’s digital ecosystem and supporting broader
socio-economic development through technology-driven solutions.
CTO
added that the event will serve as a platform for knowledge exchange,
partnership building, and the sharing of best practices among regional and
international stakeholders engaged in digital development initiatives.
