Rwanda
has reaffirmed its commitment to accelerating digital transformation through
collaboration across key sectors, including digital infrastructure,
cybersecurity and artificial intelligence-driven services.
The
engagement came during the VisionTech PLG Rwanda Launch Summit, where senior
government and industry leaders held discussions on strengthening the country’s
digital ecosystem and expanding opportunities for innovation-led growth.

The
Rwanda Development Board (RDB) Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Juliana K.
Muganza, participated in a leadership dialogue alongside officials from the
Ministry of ICT and Innovation and industry representatives.
Rwanda
Development Board said the discussions highlighted Rwanda’s ongoing digital
transformation agenda and the importance of cross-sector collaboration in
building a resilient and future-ready digital economy.
Participants
included Rwanda’s Minister of State for ICT and Innovation, Yves N. Iradukunda,
and VisionTech PLG Chief Executive Officer Aliasgar Dohadwala, who joined
discussions on strengthening partnerships within the technology ecosystem.

The
dialogue focused on leveraging digital infrastructure development, enhancing
cybersecurity frameworks and expanding the use of artificial
intelligence-powered services to support public and private sector
transformation.
Officials
emphasized that continued collaboration between government institutions and
technology partners will be essential in advancing Rwanda’s ambition to
position itself as a regional digital innovation hub.
