Orange Côte d'Ivoire and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Côte d’Ivoire have entered into a partnership aimed at accelerating digital transformation and promoting inclusive innovation across the country.

The collaboration seeks to leverage digital technology to expand opportunities for young people and women while supporting Côte d’Ivoire’s broader sustainable development agenda.

According to Orange Côte d’Ivoire Chief Executive Officer Mamadou Bamba, the partnership reflects a shared commitment to using digital solutions as tools for social transformation, inclusion, and innovation. He noted that both organizations intend to create pathways that empower communities and contribute to national development through technology.

UNDP Resident Representative Blerta Cela also emphasized the importance of the collaboration, describing it as the beginning of a joint commitment founded on a common vision of promoting innovation, accelerating digital transformation, and enabling Ivorian youth to actively participate in shaping the country’s future.

The partnership is expected to focus on initiatives that strengthen digital access, support innovation ecosystems, and encourage broader participation in the digital economy.

Both parties stated that the collaboration aligns with ongoing efforts to build a more connected, innovative, and opportunity-driven Côte d’Ivoire through technology and inclusive development initiatives.
