Côte d’Ivoire’s Minister of Digital Transition and Technological Innovation, Djibril Ouattara, has received the roadmap of the newly appointed Regulatory Council of ARTCI as the country seeks to strengthen digital regulation and accelerate its digital transformation agenda.

The meeting, held on May 11, 2026, brought together members of the new Regulatory Council led by its President, Roger Félix Adom.

During the session, the Council outlined key priorities for its mandate, including reinforcing regulatory oversight, promoting transparency, and ensuring greater rigour in the governance of the digital sector.

Ouattara emphasized the need for close collaboration between the ministry, the regulator, and other digital ecosystem stakeholders to ensure that Côte d’Ivoire’s regulatory framework evolves in line with rapid technological changes.

The discussions also focused on adapting regulatory mechanisms to support innovation, digital infrastructure development, and the broader national strategy for digital transformation.
