Côte d’Ivoire’s Minister of
Digital Transition and Technological Innovation, Djibril Ouattara, has held
discussions with a delegation from Huawei West Africa as part of efforts to
advance the country’s digital transformation strategy for public administration.
The meeting brought together
ministry officials and the Huawei delegation led by Huawei West Africa
President Auguste Dong.
According to the Ministry,
the engagement forms part of an ongoing consultative process involving
technology companies and institutions with innovative digital solutions aimed
at shaping the government’s digital transformation roadmap.
Discussions focused on
Huawei’s digital public service solutions, including deployments implemented in
Algeria, as well as government super app models introduced in several African
countries.

The exchanges also
highlighted the Ministry’s vision of establishing a unified and user-centred
digital platform to improve public service delivery and administrative
efficiency.
The Ministry said further
technical discussions would be conducted between Huawei and operational
structures including the National Information Systems Development Agency
(SNDI), as well as the PARAE and PADCI projects, to assess the suitability of
proposed solutions to the country’s identified digital transformation needs.
The engagement reflects Côte
d’Ivoire’s broader push to modernise public administration through digital
technologies and improve access to government services for citizens and
businesses.
