The
Rwanda Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution has convened stakeholders
from across the artificial intelligence ecosystem for the inaugural Rwanda AI
Scaling Hub Community Convening, aimed at accelerating the deployment of AI
solutions aligned with national development priorities.

The
two-day event brought together innovators, implementers, and government
partners to collaborate on building and scaling responsible AI applications
designed to address key socio-economic challenges in the country.
Discussions
focused on developing practical solutions that are both safe and sustainable,
while also generating the evidence needed to support broader adoption and
long-term impact.

Organisers
said the convening marks an important step in strengthening Rwanda’s AI
ecosystem by fostering collaboration between public and private sector actors
and aligning technological innovation with national policy objectives.
The
initiative is expected to contribute to ongoing efforts to position Rwanda as a
regional leader in the application of emerging technologies for development.
