Zimpost and Telco launch e-bikes to transform last-mile delivery in Zimbabwe

Zimpost
has partnered with Telco to launch three new electric bikes aimed at
modernising last-mile delivery services through sustainable, battery-powered
transport solutions.
The
introduction of the e-bikes is expected to enhance delivery efficiency while
reducing the environmental impact associated with traditional fuel-powered
vehicles.
The
initiative marks a significant step toward adopting clean energy transport
systems within Zimbabwe’s logistics and postal sector, aligning with broader
efforts to promote sustainability and innovation in service delivery.
Officials
indicated that the partnership reflects a growing commitment to leveraging
technology to improve operational performance while contributing to
environmentally responsible practices.
