The European Union and Kenya
have officially launched the inaugural EU-Kenya Digital Dialogue, a strategic
initiative aimed at strengthening cooperation in digital policy, innovation,
and technology.

The announcement was made
during the EU Tech Business Offer Forum in Nairobi by Cabinet Secretary Hon.
William Kabogo, EU Ambassador to Kenya H.E. Henriette Geiger, and European
Commission Deputy Director General Renate Nikolay.

The dialogue will bring
together policymakers, businesses, and innovators to promote investment, expand
digital infrastructure, and support the growth of digital ecosystems. Kenya
becomes the first African country to establish this type of partnership with
the EU, positioning the nation as a leader in continental digital
collaboration.
