Rwanda promotes digital and AI strategy with high-level World Bank meeting

The Rwanda Information
Society Authority (RISA), in collaboration with the Ministry of ICT and
Innovation and the World Bank, convened a high-level meeting to advance the
country’s Digital and AI Compact.
During the session, Rwanda Minister
of ICT, Paula Ingabire emphasized the critical role of digital technologies in
driving economic growth and improving public service delivery. Discussions
centered on strengthening digital infrastructure, cultivating AI talent, and
promoting innovation across Rwanda’s technology ecosystem.
The meeting underscored
Rwanda’s commitment to leveraging emerging technologies to enhance governance,
boost competitiveness, and ensure inclusive digital development for its
citizens.
