The Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Academy for Information Technology for Persons with Disabilities, an institution affiliated with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and headquartered in Knowledge City in the New Administrative Capital.

The agreement aims to strengthen collaboration in research, development and entrepreneurship in the field of assistive technologies, in alignment with Egypt Vision 2030. It seeks to integrate academic and applied expertise to develop innovative solutions that empower persons with disabilities and promote their full inclusion in society.

Under the partnership, the two institutions will cooperate on specialized academic programmes, joint research initiatives and collaborative graduation projects. The agreement also provides for support to incubators and accelerators focused on assistive technology, fostering innovation and practical application of research outcomes.

E-JUST said the partnership reflects its commitment to inclusive innovation and to leveraging advanced scientific research to contribute to a more sustainable and accessible society.
