Prof.
Anicia Peters, Chief Executive Officer of the National Commission on Research,
Science and Technology (NCRST) has moderated a key panel discussion at the
ongoing Public Sector Innovation Conference held at the Windhoek Country Club
Resort.

The

Policy to Practice,” brought together stakeholders from government and the
broader innovation ecosystem to explore practical strategies for embedding
innovation within public governance systems.
During
the session titled “Unpacking Public Sector Innovation,” Prof. Peters led
discussions focused on translating policy into measurable outcomes,
strengthening collaboration, leveraging research and technology, and
accelerating implementation to improve public service delivery.

The
engagement underscored a shared commitment to ensuring that innovation in the
public sector is both impactful and inclusive, aligning with Namibia’s national
development priorities. NCRST will continue contributing to the conference
tomorrow, with Prof. Peters and other senior staff, including Mr. Grant Balie
and Ms. Jacobine Amutenya, participating in additional innovation-focused
sessions.
