The
Internet Exchange Point of Nigeria (IXPN) has announced the successful
conclusion of the IXPN 2026 Members Engagement Forum (MEF), describing the
event as highly productive and impactful.
The
forum brought together stakeholders from across Nigeria’s internet ecosystem,
featuring discussions centered on industry developments, interconnection
priorities, and strategic direction. IXPN reported strong participation, with
more than 75 attendees present physically and 46 members joining virtually.

IXPN
expressed appreciation to its members for their active engagement and
contributions, noting that the collaborative exchanges played a key role in
shaping conversations during the forum. The organization also acknowledged the
presence and continued support of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC),
highlighting the regulator’s role in advancing Nigeria’s interconnection and
digital infrastructure landscape.

According
to IXPN, insights gathered from the IXPN Member Survey conducted last year
informed the institution’s strategic priorities for 2026, which were presented
and discussed extensively during the MEF. The exchange emphasized that the
forum serves as a platform not only for dialogue but also for aligning actions
and measurable progress within the ecosystem.
IXPN
further assured members that the resolutions, priorities, and action points
established during the engagement would be implemented throughout the business
year.
