MTN
Benin has participated in the 2026 Global Leadership Gathering (GLG), joining
more than 400 senior leaders from across the MTN Group under the theme “3
Platforms, One MTN,” as the company continues to strengthen alignment around
its long-term strategy for digital growth in Africa.

The
Benin delegation was led by the company’s CEO, Uche Ofodile, and focused on
reinforcing strategic priorities across connectivity, fintech, and digital
infrastructure. The three-day gathering provided a platform for in-depth
discussions on leadership, operational excellence, and social impact within an
increasingly dynamic telecommunications and digital services environment.
According
to MTN, the GLG served as a critical forum for refining leadership approaches
and ensuring consistent execution across all operating companies, while
maintaining a strong focus on customer needs and community impact. The
engagement also underscored the importance of working as a unified organisation
to deliver sustainable value across diverse markets.

For
subscribers in Benin, MTN said the renewed alignment will translate into an
improved customer experience, more accessible and secure digital financial
services, and initiatives designed to deliver meaningful impact within local
communities.
The
company reaffirmed that by operating as one integrated MTN team, it remains
committed to connecting people, driving inclusion, and accelerating
socio-economic progress across Benin.
