The Chief of Staff of the Minister of Communication,
Telecommunications and Digital Affairs, representing Minister Alioune Sall,
emphasized that robust, resilient, and accessible digital infrastructure is
essential for digital inclusion, a competitive digital economy, and efficient
public services.

The
discussions underscored universal connectivity as a matter of sovereignty,
economic development, and territorial equity. Participants highlighted the
state’s commitment to full territorial coverage, improving quality of service,
maintaining a stable regulatory framework for investment, and leveraging
digital infrastructure for e-health, e-education, e-government, and local
innovation.
The
meeting also stressed the importance of shared infrastructure, satellite
solutions for underserved areas, strengthening the regulator’s role, and
fostering responsible public-private partnerships.

Outcomes
from the session will inform Senegal’s 2026–2030 digital roadmap, with a focus
on moving from analysis to actionable initiatives to connect every territory,
business, and citizen.
