Rwanda’s
digital gateway, IremboGov, has been awarded the 2026 GovTech Prize for
"Best Government Service in the World" at the World Governments
Summit in Dubai. The honor was presented by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin
Mohammed Al Maktoum in recognition of Rwanda’s innovative digital
transformation strategy and its success in delivering seamless, reliable public
services at national scale.
The
award ceremony was attended by H.E. John Mirenge, Ambassador of Rwanda to the
UAE, and Estelle Kayitesi Indriets, Senior Manager for Policy and Partnerships
at Irembo, celebrating the country’s commitment to leveraging technology for
efficient governance and citizen-centric service delivery.
