Studies and Observations (AGEOS) as part of government efforts to strengthen
the country’s digital and informational sovereignty.
During
the visit, the Minister held discussions with the agency’s management and
technical teams on AGEOS’s strategic mandate and its central role in the
production and use of geospatial and satellite data. Exchanges focused on
ongoing projects supporting national priorities in planning, security, land
management and sustainable development.

Mr

challenges and assessed the agency’s technical and institutional needs. He

the importance of effective data governance and stronger integration of digital
and spatial tools in public administration.
The
visit aligns with the government’s broader vision of placing data at the core
of decision-making and public policy, with a view to enhancing evidence-based
governance and national development outcomes.

AGEOS
