The Ministry of Education and MTN Rwanda have
signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) establishing a long-term partnership
aimed at strengthening the country’s education sector through technology.

A key element of the partnership is MTN’s Digital
Skills for Digital Jobs platform, which will be integrated into MINEDUC’s
upcoming RISE program targeting youth who have not completed formal schooling.
The platform provides career guidance and access to over 500 digital skills
courses, enabling young people to leverage connectivity into tangible
opportunities for personal and professional development.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Hon.
Minister of ICT and the Hon. Minister of Public Service and Labour,
highlighting a shared commitment to building a digitally inclusive Rwanda. MTN
Rwanda emphasized that the collaboration reflects a vision of ensuring no youth
is left behind in the country’s digital transformation journey.
