Ouattara has officially assumed office as Ivorian Minister of Digital
Transition and Technological Innovation following a handover ceremony held at the Postel 2001 building. The transition took
place in the presence of the Secretary General of the Government, Charlemagne Dah.

and a graduate of the MIT Sloan School of Management.
In
his remarks, Ouattara paid tribute to the work of his predecessor, commending
Konaté for laying solid foundations for Côte d’Ivoire’s digital transformation
agenda. He pledged to build on the ongoing projects, with a commitment to
positioning digital services as an essential public utility accessible to all
citizens, comparable to water and electricity.

Konaté, who led the ministry for 27 months, has been appointed to the Ministry
of Trade, Industry and Handicrafts, bringing his experience in digital
transformation to a new portfolio within government.
