PayPal
has announced a new partnership with NEOPAY aimed at expanding access to secure
and seamless cross-border payment solutions for businesses across the United
Arab Emirates.
The
partnership, announced at the start of the year, combines PayPal’s global
payments network with NEOPAY’s local market expertise to support merchants in
the UAE, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises, in reaching
international customers more efficiently.
According
to PayPal, the collaboration is designed to simplify cross-border transactions,
enhance payment security and provide businesses with greater confidence when
operating in global markets. By leveraging NEOPAY’s regional capabilities
alongside PayPal’s international reach, the partnership seeks to reduce
barriers that often limit SME participation in cross-border trade.
The
initiative is expected to contribute to the continued growth of the UAE’s
digital economy, which has seen rapid expansion driven by increased adoption of
digital payments and e-commerce solutions. Industry observers note that
improved access to reliable cross-border payment infrastructure is critical to
supporting the country’s ambitions as a regional and global commerce hub.
PayPal
expressed optimism about the collaboration, describing it as a significant step
toward empowering UAE-based businesses with tools that enable them to scale
internationally while benefiting from secure and user-friendly payment
experiences.
