IT Solutions PLC has officially launched Websprix Cloud Service, marking the
introduction of Ethiopia’s premier sovereign cloud solution. The launch event,
held at the Sheraton Addis, positions the company at the forefront of providing
secure, high-performance, and locally hosted digital infrastructure for the
country’s emerging technology and financial sectors.
The
rollout comes as Ethiopia prepares for the establishment of the Ethiopian Stock
Exchange (ESX) and a rapidly growing capital market. Websprix Cloud Services
aims to support this growth by offering robust cloud capabilities tailored to
national requirements, emphasizing data sovereignty and operational security.
His
Excellency Dr. Belete Molla, Minister of Innovation and Technology, attended
the event, offering his support for the initiative. Dr. Belete praised the
effort, noting the importance of advancing innovation, digital transformation,
and national development through locally hosted technology solutions.

IT Solutions highlighted that the service will strengthen collaboration across
the country’s digital ecosystem, providing essential infrastructure for
