Ecobank
RDC SA has officially launched the new version of its Auto-Allocation solution,
marking a significant step forward in the digital transformation of banking and
payment services in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The
launch event took place at the Orange Center in the DRC and was held in
partnership with Orange Money. The upgraded Auto-Allocation solution builds on
Ecobank RDC SA’s ongoing efforts to improve the efficiency and accessibility of
digital services for distributors and super agents across the country.

The
fully digital platform now enables the recharging of electronic money through
multiple channels, including mobile applications, internet banking platforms,
Ecobank branches, and bank agents. This enhancement is designed to simplify
processes, accelerate transactions, and improve operational efficiency for
users within the distribution network.
The
development is expected to optimize transaction management for distributors and
super agents while strengthening the fluidity, reliability, and scalability of
electronic money operations nationwide. During the launch, insights into the
solution and its impact were shared by Michel Kalalo, Payments Director, and
Jean Paul Tshilumbu, Head of Payment Products.

Through
the introduction of the enhanced Auto-Allocation platform, Ecobank RDC SA has
reiterated its commitment to digitalization, financial inclusion, and the
modernization of banking services in the Democratic Republic of Congo,
reinforcing its role at the center of the country’s digital transformation
agenda.
