The
Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Digital Economy (MPTEN) has held an
official handover ceremony for the leadership of its Human Resources Division,
marking a transition in the management of the department.
The
ceremony, which was chaired by the Deputy Inspector General, Mr. Mamadou Hady
Bah formalised the transfer of responsibilities from the outgoing Director of
Human Resources, Mr. Mohamed Lamine Sylla, to the newly appointed head of the
division, Mrs. Hadiatou Baldé.
The
event was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Labor and the Civil
Service, alongside senior officials and staff of MPTEN. The gathering
highlighted the importance of continuity and stability in the administration of
human resource policies within the ministry.
Speaking
on behalf of the outgoing director, Mr. Mohamed Keita commended the dedication
of the Human Resources teams and acknowledged the efforts made under Mr.
Sylla’s leadership to strengthen organisational structures and improve human
resource management across the ministry. He also extended his best wishes to
Mrs. Baldé as she assumes her new role.
In
her remarks, Mrs. Hadiatou Baldé expressed appreciation for the confidence
placed in her and reaffirmed her commitment to building on existing reforms.
She underscored her intention to align her leadership with ongoing initiatives
aimed at promoting efficiency, accountability, and professionalism within the
public administration.
The
ceremony concluded with the formal handover of official documents and files,
symbolising the completion of the transition and the beginning of a new phase
in reinforcing administrative governance at the Ministry of Posts,
Telecommunications and Digital Economy.
