The
Ministers of the Economy, Finance and the Digital Economy have chaired a
high-level strategic meeting focused on modernising public administration and
accelerating the digitalisation of government services in Gabon.
The
meeting reviewed the progress of several key digital and financial reform
initiatives central to improving state efficiency and public service delivery.
Discussions included the Integrated Public Financial Management System
(SIGFIP), which is designed to strengthen transparency and efficiency in public
finance management, as well as the MADIGIPAIE project aimed at enabling the
electronic payment of public services.

Other
priority areas examined were the Single Participation File, the extension of
the Gabon Digital loan, and the settlement of the Gabonese counterpart
obligations within the framework of the e-Gabon project. The ministers also
assessed the implementation of the electronic invoicing system and plans to
establish a national platform for the payment and collection of public
revenues.
At
the conclusion of the meeting, the ministers reaffirmed their collective
commitment to advancing these structural reforms, describing them as critical
to enhancing administrative performance and supporting sustainable economic
development. They further agreed to hold regular coordination meetings to
closely monitor progress and ensure the timely completion of all identified
projects.
