The Ministers of the Economy, Finance and the Digital Economy have chaired a high-level strategic meeting focused on modernising public administration and accelerating the digitalisation of government services in Gabon.

The meeting reviewed the progress of several key digital and financial reform initiatives central to improving state efficiency and public service delivery. Discussions included the Integrated Public Financial Management System (SIGFIP), which is designed to strengthen transparency and efficiency in public finance management, as well as the MADIGIPAIE project aimed at enabling the electronic payment of public services.

Other priority areas examined were the Single Participation File, the extension of the Gabon Digital loan, and the settlement of the Gabonese counterpart obligations within the framework of the e-Gabon project. The ministers also assessed the implementation of the electronic invoicing system and plans to establish a national platform for the payment and collection of public revenues.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the ministers reaffirmed their collective commitment to advancing these structural reforms, describing them as critical to enhancing administrative performance and supporting sustainable economic development. They further agreed to hold regular coordination meetings to closely monitor progress and ensure the timely completion of all identified projects.
