Vodacom
Group has been named Africa’s Top Employer by the Top Employers Institute for
the third consecutive year, achieving an overall score of 99.56 percent. The
recognition also saw Vodacom operations in Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique, South
Africa and Tanzania ranked first in their respective countries.

The
certification reflects Vodacom Group’s continued focus on progressive people
management practices, with emphasis on workforce innovation and creativity, the
human impact of artificial intelligence, and the integration of ethics and
integrity across organisational processes. As part of the 2026 assessment, two
best practices from Vodacom South Africa—Human-AI Collaboration Impact
Evaluation and Innovation and Creativity Empowerment—were recognised for global
benchmarking by the Top Employers Institute.
Vodacom
stated that the recognition underscores its commitment to creating an enabling
work environment that supports employee growth, inclusion and long-term
performance. The Group continues to prioritise employee well-being through its
C.A.R.E. framework, alongside sustained investments in digital learning,
leadership development and holistic wellness programmes.

The
Top Employer certification process evaluates organisations on people practices
across areas such as strategy, work environment, talent acquisition, learning,
diversity and inclusion, and well-being. Vodacom Group’s performance places it
among a select group of employers on the continent meeting the highest
international standards in human resource management.
Vodacom
