Ethiopost, Elebat sign partnership to expand postal service delivery

Ethiopost
has signed a partnership agreement with Elebat Management and Technology
Solutions to strengthen collaboration between the two organizations and support
the expansion of postal service delivery across Ethiopia.
The
agreement is aimed at increasing the number of Ethiopost service delivery
centers and improving public access to postal services nationwide. It forms
part of Ethiopost’s broader efforts to enhance service reach, efficiency, and
customer experience.
The
agreement was signed on behalf of Ethiopost by its Chief Commercial Officer,
W/ro Tigist Bekele, while Elebat Management and Technology Solutions was
represented by its Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Netsanet Raya.
Speaking
at the signing ceremony, W/ro Tigist Bekele said the partnership would play a
critical role in advancing Ethiopost’s strategic objectives by improving
service accessibility and raising customer satisfaction levels. She noted that
collaboration with private sector partners is essential to modernizing postal
services and meeting the evolving needs of customers.
Mr.
Netsanet Raya, for his part, expressed appreciation for the opportunity to
partner with Ethiopost, describing it as a long-established national
institution. He stated that leveraging Elebat’s extensive network of agents
would enable Ethiopost to deliver its services more widely and efficiently to
the public.
The
partnership is expected to contribute to the modernization of Ethiopia’s postal
sector and support broader efforts to improve service delivery through
public–private collaboration.
