The
International Network of Women Digital Experts (RIFEN) has signed a Memorandum
of Understanding with Côte d’Ivoire’s National Agency for the Universal Service
of Telecommunications and ICT (ANSUT) to strengthen cooperation on inclusive
digital development.

The
agreement was signed, reflects a shared commitment by both institutions to
promote accessible and inclusive digital technologies with a strong social
impact. The partnership is aimed at supporting joint initiatives that expand
digital opportunities while addressing structural inequalities in access and
participation.
Under
the MoU, RIFEN and ANSUT will collaborate on initiatives focused on the digital
inclusion of women and girls, including persons with disabilities, the
promotion of women’s leadership in national and international decision-making
spaces, and the responsible and ethical use of digital tools.
The
signing ceremony also featured additional cooperation agreements between ANSUT
and two civil society organisations, DigiFemmes Côte d’Ivoire and Amazones du
Web, further reinforcing a coordinated approach to digital inclusion and
empowerment in the country.

The
partnerships are expected to contribute to the development of sustainable
digital projects that support social inclusion, capacity building, and
equitable participation in Côte d’Ivoire’s digital ecosystem.
